MEASURING GUIDE FOR ROMAN BLINDS

USEFUL TIPS BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER:
Please note that below information is based on our many years of experience with customers and these are not guidelines for ordering curtains/blinds. Each customer is unique and has unique visions and requirements.
- On average pole width should be 40cm wider than the window.
- On average, to achieve paddling effect where curtains sit on the floor, we recommend adding extra 15-20cm to the drop.
- When measuring drop for curtains we always recommend measuring left, right and centre to ensure your pole/track is positioned perfectly parallel to the floor to avoid uneven drop especially if curtains drop all the way to the floor.
- For extra gather on flat panel curtains which we do not add any fullness to, we recommend adding extra half of your width. For example if curtain pole/track width is 100cm, state curtain pole/track width as 150cm.
- Blinds which are fitted inside the recess (window) we recommend taking 1cm off of the width to ensure the blind fits in well and for smooth operating.
- If curtain drop is right to the floor we recommend taking 1cm off of the drop to ensure the bottom of the curtain sits nicely just slightly above the floor.
